2010 has finally ended and 2011 has started today.

In retrospect i would say that year gone by was full of activites all round and at no point of the year i had time for relaxation for get leisure. I took only 3 days of leave and was in office on all working days and also on some weekends owing to Project demands.
It all started with creation of a new team and me playing central part in it. Right from training, coahing, mentoring and on job hand holding, brainstorming, technical analysis and also in build activities, i was involved in all of it. At later point of time i was also involved in QA activities which proved to be crucial.
People Management is something which i learned while execution of the Project and i must say it wasn't easy, handling a team of almost 15 members, it took a while for me to get hold of the situation. During mid year i also witnessed chaos of highest degree and somehow came over it (Can't go into details). The chaos which i experienced was more like a moment of truth for me, an enlightenment. Probably no experience from hereon would be a surprize!!
September was the month when appraisal ratings were made public and i got promoted but i wasn;t happy because the cost is rather too high. People would not agree with this statement but that's the truth and must be told.
October was the month when the critical Go-Live of the Project was achieved. It was sigh of relief for me, a moment of temporary relaxation. It all went very soon as i was involved in Post go live activities and the planning for next Phase.
December saw hightened escalations yet again and somehow the viscious cycle has started yet again!
