Sunday Funday!

Got a call from old pal today who wanted to meet me. And since i am not "Busy" i agreed! We went to Ambiance Mall, which i guess is one of the biggest Mall in India.

The gentry was beyond expectation, lots to drool on:)) We also did play pool and then came back for Pizza @Dominoes.

In the end it turned out to be good Sunday rather then usual lazy ones!

Current Entity!

Reading Bertrand Russell these days. The title is "The Conquest of Happiness". This is unique because of two reasons firstly it's not a self help book and second which is symbolically more important  is it's no more "In Pursuit of happiness"!! Small change makes lots of difference!

There are two more after this and the next one which i would be reading is "In The Praise of Idleness", now that's something i really want to go in detail! Also recently finished reading "Dabawalas", an interesting book which gives account of how Dabawalas actually functions and what is their USP which makes them a revered Brand around the world!

I bought all these from the World book fair, New Delhi. I wish i had a Library where i would keep my treasured collection but then until that happens me and my books will keep travelling!

I think i could turn and live with Animals, they are so placid and self contained,

Lessons from Dabawalas!

Globalization has put most of us on a frenzy highway. It's not the conscious decision that we had made, it's something we have been put under. Instead on accomplishments we focus more on Speed.

We are under constant threat that somebody will run us over, so we run fast and we keep running. The essence of life is lost.

We are born to win but we are certainly not born to keep racing at all times!

Life in a Tunnel!

Those 40 mins i would not be able to forget in my entire life. I have renamed it to Life in a tunnel. I had no clue what would happen and what is the procedure. It was all in the hands of the concerned staff. I was afraid after a very long time in my life. After the instruction i was slowly slided inside the tube.

All sort of thoughts started to flow. Personal, Professional, Emotional, Financial and what not! For a moment everything seemed to trivial that i almost felt wretched. I felt like i am a helpless character and the time has come probably, i was thinking about the possibilities of outcome.

Tryst with my destiny!

What if you come to know today that you have not much to live and in a few days or months it’s over! Would you not make certain necessary adjustments?

In windows term it means BSD- Blue screen of Death. But unlike windows there are no fixes in life. Think what exactly you mean by when you say you are alive! “Sirf saans lena bhar to jeena nahi hai!”. Life is for living, live the way you want it to be. Don’t try to emulate anyone, instead try creating your own space.

Everyone cried after “Anand” died but we still don’t learn anything from it. Why? We are too involved in this world and then it was just a film, it doesn’t really happen! Point taken but with a minor change – It doesn’t really happen to everyone!

We are too busy with our Office, Projects, deadlines, promotions, relations blah blah blah…!It’s really very hard to put yourself in the character of “Anand” and then live. Not everyone is that courageous.

There is only one life to be lived so don’t be so serious that you forget to enjoy. There is no heaven and there is no hell outside this very earth. It all depends on the situation we are in. Heaven and Hell both are created and destroyed on day-2day need basis.

If you don’t like a person or a situation please try to avoid it rather then hate. Save your time and energy for meeting the situation and people whom you would like. Try indulging yourself in those activities which you like rather then those which are imposed on you. Remember you don’t have to give explanation to anyone about how you want to live your own life. Your time is not infinite. Spent it with great care.

The Gyan is just a short depiction of learning which I got after "tryst with my destiny" which I wish I could share….but then let’s leave it...

There are so many thing that one wants to do, wants to say, wants to hear...Alas!!! Travesty of life makes even the smallest wish difficult and the difficult most the simplest.

As time passes, people tend to forget or rather put all past feelings in an envelop and forget it like an old cassette. It's like the cassette was good at one time. It's past, forgotten!

I tried to "ping" an old friend but all in vain...tried calling another one and the call was into the waiting mode!!!An old friend turned up in Delhi but then he too will have more important adventures then meeting this poor old man! Requested few writings from a friend...even that wasn't done even after a "promise"!!!Wow...what a friend circle i have got!

Need to do something now!!
